Product Details
Ferro-titanium is a special alloy with a wide range of uses. It is added to steel as an alloying element in the steelmaking process to refine the structure and crystallization, fix the interstitial elements (carbon and nitrogen), and improve the strength of the steel. When smelting stainless steel and heat-resistant steel, titanium and carbon structure combine to form a stable compound, which can prevent the formation of chromium carbide, reduce intergranular corrosion, and improve the welding performance of chromium-nickel stainless steel. The product deoxidized with titanium is easy to float, and the nitrogen dissolved in molten steel is sedated and combined to form a stable titanium nitride insoluble in molten steel. High-titanium iron is also an indispensable alloy material for smelting iron-based superalloys and high-quality stainless steel.
